Dr. Shun-Wei Liu is a Chair Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) in Taiwan. He also serves as the Director of the Organic Electronics Research Center and has held the position of Vice Dean of the College of Engineering. With over fifteen years of dedicated service in his field, Professor Liu’s research primarily focuses on the fundamental physics of organic and perovskite materials, as well as their applications in advanced optoelectronic devices, including SWIR/NIR organic imagers, transparent photovoltaics, medical OLED lighting, perovskite PD/PV, and ultra-thin, flexible electronics. One of Professor Liu’s significant industrial contributions is the development of an innovative co-deposition process that enables precise control over the mixing ratio from multiple organic sources. This technique has streamlined the production of high-quality thin films using high-vacuum thermal evaporation, leading to significant advancements in the performance of organic electronics for practical applications.
